It's A Color Throwdown

Today's card is for a color challenge from The Color Throwdown.  I love the colors for this challenge, they are nice and cheery.

This color challenge called for some stamp sets that required me to blow the dust off them, I can't remember the last time I used either of them.

Supplies
Card Stock:  Rose Red, Pretty in Pink (textured), Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron, Whisper White
Ink:  Basic Grey, Rose Red
Stampin' Write Markers:  Pear Pizzazz, Rose Red, Pretty in Pink
Stamp Sets:  Simply Said, Flight of the Butterfly
Punches:  Butterfly Punch, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border
Accessories:  Basic Pearls, Paper Piercer, Mat Pack, Stamp-a-ma-Jig, SNAIL, Dimensionals

Tips
  1. The Basic Pearls have an adhesive on them, so all you have to do is peel them off the paper they come on, just be careful to not touch the back of the pearl.
  2. I stamped the solid butterfly, punched it out, and adhered it to the base layer of the card, then I stamped the butterfly again with the design, punched it out and adhered it to the solid stamped butterly with the dimensional.  Although you really can't tell in the picture, it gives a little bit of a dimensional look to the card.
  3. I used the Stamp-a-ma-Jig to stamp the greeting so that I could get it placed just the way I wanted it to.
Thanks for checking out my blog today, I would love to know what you think of my cards.
