Did you know that you can take this...
Turn it into this...
Package it all up into this...
Like this...
And your final package looks like this!
But, wait there's more. You can safely burn these (I tried myself).
This is the tealight burning.
This is after burning for about an hour. I didn't expect the stamped image to still be intact, but as you can see it was.
And this is the tealight burned all the way to the end, and still the image is intact.
Here's another sample of tealights done with snowmen.
Supplies for Fall Tealights
Cardstock: More Mustard, Riding Hood Red, Confetti White
Ink: More Mustard, Riding Hood Red, Garden Green, Cajun Craze
Stamps: Day of Gratitude
Punches: 1 3/8" circle punch, 1/16" hole punch
Accessories: Heat Tool, SNAIL, Sticky Tape, Paper Snips
For the Snowmen Tealights I used A Cute Christmas stamp set.
Tips
- The instructions on Tanya's blog are really easy to follow.
- The only tip I have is to cut a sliver off the 4 smallest flaps (the only piece that's left after you cut all of the shaded area in each of the corners) like the picture below. It just helps them fit under the larger flaps when you fold them over.
I hope you enjoy these as much as I did.

These are fantastic. I have to pull this off and save it so I can make them myself. Thanks for blessing my evening and inspiring my art. :)
Hi! I just wanted to know how you heated your tea light to have your tissue image stick onto the wax. Thanks so much for sharing!
Tammy, you did a fabulous job with this project! I really like how you demonstrated how safe they are to burn because people always ask, lol. And I certainly don't mind you sharing this project :)
Oh, this is GREAT! I've seen it done before, but I really like that you showed that the image lasts...I think I'm gonna give it a whirl! :) tfs
